Castle Mandawa is where antique meets state-of-the-art. This castle was originally built ages ago, and was transformed into a heritage hotel by a regal family of Mandawa. Every corner of the hotel is festooned with paintings, murals, colorful inscriptions, royal chandeliers, antique furniture and several beautiful things that remind us of the era gone by.

Shekhawati region was founded by Rao Shekhaji. He ruled over the area with massive strength and selflessness. Shekhawati acted as a trading outpost for the ancient route connecting China and Middle East. Thakur Nawal Singh, ruler of Mandawa decided to commission a fort for the protection of the outpost. Gradually large number of traders got attracted by the township in this fort and decided to settle here.

In the Women’s Quarters, one room has antique murals, while the other has marble fountain and some other has 7-feet-thick walls.
