Glenburn Tea Estate was established in the year 1859 by a Scottish tea company before it passed onto the historical tea pioneers of Darjeeling the Prakashes. Popularly called as the “Chaiwala family” or “tea planters”, their history goes back over hundred years. Now, the third and fourth generation descendants of Prakash family have converted this piece of family legacy into a popular heritage hotel in West Bengal.
